Ways to reduce sugar in your diet

Drinking apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is very good for your body. It helps to change the taste buds when you consume too many sugary foods. Furthermore, you crave less junk and it helps you in losing weight as well.


Have almond butter

One of the best ways to quit the sugar intake is to have almond butter. Just have a jar at home and you can carry it anywhere you go. Have two to three spoonfuls of butter whenever you feel hungry. This will help in regulating your blood sugar levels. Proteins and fat together in the butter work wonders. It helps in decreasing your craving and keep your blood sugar levels intact.


Have breakfast with sugar-free rice drink

The best way to start your day is by making a granola mix breakfast. Also, add in all your healthy favorite options. You can sugar-free milk is very beneficial for your body. Have this milk and you feel energized for the rest of the day. It has about 100 grams less sugar than ordinary milk.


Have more sleep to balance the hunger hormones

When you have a good amount of sleep daily, the hunger hormones all work properly. You don’t like craving anything at any time. Prioritize sleeping for about 7 to 9 hours at night.  This will balance all your hunger hormones and the sweet cravings are reduced.


Drinking more water

Sometimes you feel like eating when your body has not consumed water for a long time. Drink about one to two glasses of water when you feel that sugar craving. It will reduce all the sugar symptoms effectively.


If you don’t like plain water, you can make healthy smoothies with cucumbers, mint, etc. Lemon Cinnamon water or cucumber water are all good for your health. Try out sparkling mineral water or flavored waters for that matter.

Who should prefer going for a sugar-free diet?

People should prefer a low sugar diet to maintain their health. But it’s best for people with diabetes or someone who is having difficulty maintaining their blood levels. Heart diseases, PCOS, etc. are all diseases caused by high sugar intake. A no-sugar diet means that you prefer having natural sugars. Try cutting out on the added sugars for the start. This way you will see lots of improvements in your systems too.

What do you mean by low sugar diet?

A low sugar diet means focusing on how much sugar content to intake. It is avoiding packaged foods and going for real foods. Processed foods like fast food, restaurant meals, etc. are all so high in sugar. They are delicious but not very good for the body.

When you are having low sugar diet, it doesn’t mean a low-carb diet as well. You can cut it out step by step or lose it 100% at the same time. Go for the sugar detox method and you will be benefitted from the same.


Most people today are cutting out on sugar calories. Have a balanced diet and you can include natural sweeteners at times. Lead a healthy life and you will be protected from many diseases.
